In May, Operation Vacation teams up with the Glenwood Whitewater Park to welcome the United States Kayak Freestyle Team Trial competition. The 7th Annual Colorado Yagatta Regatta whitewater festival expands to two days, May 30-31, 2009, at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs to celebrate the trials and the whitewater community and to raise funds to give our troops a break.

The 7th Annual Colorado Yagatta Regatta, May 30-31, 2009, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, supports Operation Vacation, a grassroots, nonprofit organization based in Glenwood whose purpose is to reunite deserving soldiers with their families on free vacations in the Roaring Fork Valley and Grand County in Colorado and Dallas and Austin in Texas.
